As of today the Kings can go .500 the rest of the regular season and still
finish with 50 wins. So my question is: can the Kings win 60? 70?

When Webber returns he better come in with the mentality of 'I'm just
another piece of the puzzle' and not 'Gimme the ball.' In the past there
have been close games where he started taking (and sometimes missing) all
the shots with the game on the line. With Peja's development into
near-superstar status I don't want to see Webber come in and take shots away
from him.

Maybe we should trade C. Webb for McGrady?

Just kidding.

They are playing very well, although I suspect the record will come down a
bit when they finally have to start playing some road games. Who the hell
designed the Kings schedule???

55 is a more realistic number. But this season sounds a little familar
like the 2001/02 season when Webber was out for the first two months and
the team ended up with 61 wins.

It is still CWebb's team but Peja is not too far behind. The question will
be during crunchtime, will the rest of the team just stand around when
Chris has the ball in his hands (and force him to take bad shots) or will
they continue to play in their motion offense?

Please, don't fool yourself thinking the Kings are better without CWebb as
the oppositions are outrebounding and outscoring them in the paint. Webber
return will answer some of these two needs but I still think the Kings will
still be outrebounded and outscored in the paint but not as wide of a gap
especially against quality teams.

My guess is that ABC/ESPN/TNT may have some input into the scheduling as
they want as many key match-ups of the Kings/Lakers/Spurs/Mavs on the
national TV after the All-Star break. As far as the lopsided road games at
the end of the season, I guess the people at ARCO arena had to bump the
Kings in favor of Disney On Ice or whatever.

I Wouldn't Say The Kings Are Gay ... - They've just spent too much time in the shower recently.....

Hey Kings fan..... - Can you see the journey ending.First the Maloof's can't get an arena deal and then the trade Webber for basically nothing.Team starts to get rid of key players, starts to lose and starts not selling out.Cut payroll and lose.Just what an owners needs to...

Kings Get 50 - By blasting the Suns without PEJA, MILLER and BIBBY. And all we heard about on ESPN was how Nash didn't play. Whatever. Time to knock off the Sonics. Ridnour has NO CHANCE to stop Bibby and Bobby. The guard play alone will win this series. -- #1KF ...

Kings win... - .... despite Adelman's bumbling. Why did Garcia (green rookie) play 48 minutes? He was 1 for 7 shooting, 1 for 4 free throws with 4 rebounds and 3 turnovers. Good thing Bibby was on or Adelman would have blown another game. DaveL

Thanks Kings - Today's win was HUGE for Warrior fan... Thank you for not mailing it in like so many teams have. Rizzo
