After two straight stellar defensive efforts with his big lineup,
Pistons coach Michael Curry admitted he was thinking about staying with
it -- even after Rip Hamilton returns from a strained left groin.

That might mean Hamilton or Allen Iverson could become the sixth man.

"We looked at our lineup at different times, and we thought about
different possible guys coming off the bench, but we hadn't made a
decision on that," Curry said Monday night after the Pistons' fourth
straight victory -- 88-82 over the Orlando Magic. "That's kind of a
tough decision."

If it is one thing NBA players like it is consistency in the line-up.
They'd like to know night in, night out if they are starting or coming
off of the bench. Some guys, like McDyess, do very well coming off of
the bench and like it that way. Others not so much. I don't think
either Iverson or Hamilton would enjoy coming off of the bench.

I'm not sure Curry should be so indecisive on the line up. Once Rip
is healthy, IMO, it should be he starting and Iverson coming off of
the bench if you want to go with a "big" line up. Otherwise you're
going to have to go back to Stuckey coming off of the bench and
Iverson and Rip starting. I'd rather have Stuckey starting. I like
Amir starting so long as he can learn to keep his silly fouls down to
a bare minimum.
