But couldn't this affect, say, the Lucas recruitment . . . ?

He chose Florida. Take a bit to live that down here IYKWIMAITYD. But
then again, we're used to mental cases here, so, hey . . . .

"Blue-chips" drive me crazy, and I well remember, as should every UK fan,
and really every college basketball fan, "the Flight of the Blue-Chips"
from UK after Sutton left and the one-year TV ban and two-year probation
were handed down . . . .

Even with Pitino coming in . . . .

The guys who stayed, largely the real UK fans themselves, along with those
who couldn't've placed themselves any better anywhere else, became the
absolute darlings of the UK faithful, of course.

Recruitment? I thought he had already been recruited and signed. If
I'm not mistaken the SEC has a rule about players transferring within
conference.

Florida would have to let him out of his LOI, and then the SEC would
have to approve, and Coach Clyde would have to still want him here
under the circumstances.

Kentucky Basketball is more than wins and losses, it is about
having pride in the program....
