Post subject: Altitude and captioning
Archived from groups: alt>sports>hockey>nhl>col-avalanche, others (more info?)
I am currently watching Altitude, and they are failing to provide
captioning after 2 (complete) seasons of no-captioning. According to
of the operations that I spoke with last May is that they are supposed
to provide the captioning service starting the 3rd seasons of live TV.

I'm disappointed, and I am requesting that you e-mail
programming DeleteThis @altitiude.tv and operations DeleteThis @altitude.tv and voice your
displeasure that they are not captioning the live events as required
by FCC and ADA law.

Fox Sports-RM has been captioning the Rockies game for 2 seasons and
they had been showing the live games for about 5 seasons total.

Why can't Stanley Kroenke of Wal-mart fame get his fat-ass Republican
ass and start paying for what we deaf people are looking for?

I'm deaf. Basically, I'm asking for a simple solution - CLOSED
CAPTIONING. You know, the little words that you see on your TV on the
bottom or (God forbid) on the top of the screen?

Altitude was supposed to start providing it this fall. To date, they
haven't.

I was with you up until you made that ignorant, bigoted remark about a
political affiliation.

I mean, I was actually going to e-mail them about it. Now, I'm not.
