Archived from groups: alt>sports>basketball>nba>ind-pacers (more info?)

Artest is out for the rest of the season. Is that just the rest of the
regular season, or does that include playoffs? If he's eligible for
the playoffs I'll still have a slight glimmer of hope for this team.

I heard the NBA said he will miss the rest of the season, so he should
only have miss the rest of Autumn and come back in late December when
Winter starts. J/K.

Since I am a Pacer fan I feel it is wrong that I should suffer when I
didn't do anything wrong. Here is my proposed solution for the
punishments. No game suspensions. Put the guilty players in players
except to play games and practice. Do not pay the bad players if they
lose, but still pay them if the team wins. Only pay them for winning
because they need an incentive to try - I don't want to see them
playing half assed out there.
