According to Nielsen SoundScan, the album "Chapter III" by the women's R&B
trio Allure sold just 1,200 copies nationally in its first two weeks out.
SoundScan measures sales from 14,000 retail, mass merchant and
non-traditional outlets like online stores. Amazon.com listed the album No.
29,585 in its music sales ranking Sunday, down a tad from No. 26,106 early
last week.
The album is the first release for Artest's budding record label, Truwarier
Records. The company says there were distribution problems to stores. The
album also is selling on the label's Web site, but those sales figures
aren't available.
