Reports I've read say the Simon brothers are very upset with the state
of the franchise. Not just with the team's performance, but with the
character issues surrounding certain players. It has also been
written that CEO Donnie Walsh has spoken to the NY Knicks about taking
Isaiah Thomas' spot as team president.

So, might the off season see Bird and Walsh and other front office
personnel fired? Might they finally rid themselves of Jamal Tinsley
and the under-performing David Harrison? Will they trade Jermaine?
Who would take him?

Players I'd like to see stay include Granger, Dunleavy, Diener, Rush,
Daniels, Foster and maybe Dioqu, Murphy and Williams.

If Jermaine is never going to be healthy, then they need to cut him
lose. Otherwise, they need to get him healthy, put some better
players around him and make a run at things. They've been treading
water ever since the brawl in Detroit. Time to shake things up.

Regards,

Pacers have about as much life as this news group. I'm guessing Walsh will
move on and Bird will have one last shot in 09 to change directions.
O'Neal's trade value hinges on him getting back on the court yet this year.
If he does and performs well, they can move him, if not he'll be a Pacer
again probably playing about 35 games in 09. Flimsly needs to go no matter
what, unlike O'Neal he hasn't accomplished anything beyond a pretty good
rookie season and rides the pine as much as JO without 10+ years of banging
under the boards. I agree on the future, except Harrison, he's somewhat of
headcase, but I'm not ready to give up on him yet, and they desperately need
rebounding and interior defensive help.
