He did a nice job filling in for KG tonight. I was impressed with his
performance tonight, something i hardly ever see from him. At times
seeing how he plays, when Doc gives him a chance, i'm thinking why is he
still on the roster? And what do the Celtics see in him? Hitting a big 3
pointer late in the 4th quarter, when the Celtics needed a basket
increasing their lead. As Tommy would say give him a Tommy point. He
deserves one after a decent job filling in for KG.

How Scal gets treated by a lot of the fans is just wrong. He's been nothing
but hardworking and professional since he's been in Boston.

Not true, he's also been inept...

He is playing pretty well now though, he got some confidence from
somewhere!

I lost respect for him when I heard about his politics though...

I like Scal, not everyone is a STARTER for the C's, and I do appreciate
his humor .... but Normy, what the "HECK" does some Player's "Politics"
have to do with if you like them or not?

I'm not a politician, praise Gawd, or I probably would have deep-sixed
my interest in Sports long ago.

I like HUSTLE on EVERY play, and the TWO best <bad> examples I saw in
the NBA were ....1) We tawkin practice ... and 2) Artest and the Indy
melee into the stands.

Now, I don't know if Iverson or Artest are of my political alignment if
I have one, but I DO KNOW Basketball wise, they aren't in my alignment..

Maybe it's just me, but I can certainly separate an NBA Player's
political alignment from his on and off Court presence.

Actually, take the "Big 3" <Garnett, Ray and Paul>. .. I couldn't tell
you their Political beliefs if your life depended on it, let alone
Scal's.

Normy, there is a big white line when a Player enters the Court .. if ya
set aside any of your political beliefs when one of these Players step
across that big white line, you'll get the intended purpose of the game
...that is, to ENJOY it.

By the same token, if you see Scal doing anything wrong on the Court, or
something he could improve on, please comment.

Thanx.

boxing out, post moves, passing, running, etc. If you see something he
doesn't need to improve on, please comment.

So..... being a proponent for killing babies and such earns your
respect? I'd say your respect isn't worth much.
