Besides all we would not need 7 players on the court especially with
Superman and Spiderman there too. They would just get in each others
way. Spiderman or Superman alone would be more than enough to beat most
teams.

My meaning was any player who is actually playing for the NBA right now


Who would you want but do not think we could get because they would want
more than Denver could pay?

Ummm, LeBron James would work. Gilbert Arenas would work. We
really could use someone to spell Canby.

I wonder - I bet lots of people believe Nene is about ready to become
a star. Would anybody be willing to take his salary in a trade for
someone we need now?

They needed an outside shooter - but Smith seems to be adequate here
most of the time. They are vulnerable at center with Canby having a
history of injury. They could do better at the point - especially
with Boykins not doing his thing (but a backup center doesn't get Nene
type of money) - a trade that upgraded our starting point would be
useful.

A decent chance. Some people think he's a cancer, and he does like
to have the ball. But he plays hard and he plays hurt.

He can help and hurt the team in different ways - if the price is
right I'm for the trade - my buddy is against it.

I don't mind giving up Nene. I don't know about draft picks. We
need Smith right now - Iverson isn't more of an outside threat than
Anthony. I personally like Najara.

But K-Mart needs to get well next year.

What happened tonight??!! Nuggets got beat by about 30 points.
Carmelo did not seem to get any support. He scored 36 points. What
did the others do??

The hard part right now appears to be losing Smith. But his
soon-to-be over large contract is what the 76ers want. (The Nuggets
went through this a few years ago).

And without Nene, we will be more dependent on ever on Canby's health.

They were asleep. I watched my grandson singing, and then listened
to the Avalanche on the way home, so I only have the papers to go by.

but with Iverson the Nuggets would have two big scoring threats. No
longer would Carmelo be double teamed because that would leave Iverson
open or is my theory wrong??

It is too bad one can't download the games. I love watching basketball
highlights. ESPN has that stupid crawl bar at the bottom of the screen
that is distracting
