Trying to stop the Nuggets from a last second score will be difficult.
Who do you double team?

I'm not sure that Carmelo & Allen are the most compatible scorers -
but I suspect next year K-mart will fit in nicely with Iverson's game.

Still, right now we are a team with big men. But our defensive
strength is Marcus. Sure, Allen can steal the ball - but to get past
the first round of the playoffs we need a half-court defense - which
means good play by the big men.

The 76ers need Joe Smith's salary if they deal with the Nuggets. The
Nuggets will also need to get rid of Nene's salary and potential to
make a deal. Those are two big bodies. We need to keep Canby.

Something like that but I am thinking the entire game

Well I am not an expert in basketball but I just figured if you have 2
scoring threats it would make it harder to defend. I am still trying to
figure out what the paint is and what they mean by a pick

Shaq???

I agree with keeping Camby. Nuggets lost another one where Carmelo
shot well but not well enough. He got 42 points but missed some free
throws that would have been enough to put Denver ahead. very depressing

Well here is some quotes after the game

"They play well together," said Pau Gasol, who led Memphis with 23
points. "They had a chemistry from the first moment. They have fun
together and help each other out. I'm interested to see how they play
together the rest of the year. They will be a very dangerous couple.

"It's tough to have to guard one of them. It's worse to have to worry
about two great players."

I can't believe I was talking about Iverson coming to to play for the
Nuggets before it actually happened. I just had a feeling that Iverson
and Carmelo would be a great team.

Thoughts???

When Memphis went zone, Anthony wasn't as good - but when AI went in,
he cut through the zone like it wasn't there. I liked some of
Anthony's fast passes, and the fact that he was able to get free near
the basket where AI fed him.

The TV announcers mentioned one player came back from a month's layoff
and scored 30. I missed who that player was.

Well that is good right?? It is like I was trying to say before. It
will be difficult to defend them both.

Does the Nuggets have a shot at the finals this season??

Anybody have any highlights of the Nuggets game against Memphis??

If they win their division, they can avoid playing one of the big 3
the first round. They might be able to get to the Western
Conference Finals and have to beat one of them.

The can score well enough to beat anybody - can they defend well
enough?
