I saw many Celtic's at the playoffs games - but didn't see Bird or Mchale.
Perhaps it would be inappropriate for them to support their old teams given
they are with other franchises. Were there any references to them in the
Boston Press?

just wondering why they were not courtside for some of the playoffs.

Because they are currently executives for other teams. It's
considered bad protocol to go and openly root for another team. Danny
Ainge did say, though, that the very first person to contact him after
they won was Larry Bird, so you know Bird was watching (and, given his
comments since the series, actively rooting for the C's).

You got it in one. They're also both really busy with pre-draft stuff.

Kevin and Larry can go on about their Executive NBA lives, but "Green is
Green" and Red can trust them on that :-)
