Are there more Celtics fans in Los Angeles, or more Lakers..

Boston is a really small city. I have to imagine there are far more
Southern Californians in Massachusetts than there are New Englanders here.
On top of that, New Englanders here are likely to be swamped in the large
general population. Of course, there are a lot of Celtics fans that are
not from New England, just like there are lot (probably more!) Lakers fans
who are not from LA.

for Paul Pierce,as the Gaahden crowd is doing here for Kobe.

I am certainly one. There was no team here except the Chaps (now Shams)
who were then basically minor league at the time - the ABA took a few years
to become "major" and a few more to get to basic parity with the NBA. So I
needed a team and it was the Lakers due to my fascination with Wilt and his
exploits - 100, 50.4 etc.
