My god, this newsgroup is dead ;((((

Everybody bummed out cause the Lakers are going to win the NBA Championship
in 2004?

The Sparks beat the Sting fairly easily at Staples Arena.

There appears to be a bit of friction developing between Lisa Leslie and
Nikki Teasley.

I noticed a pretty animated discussion between Lisa Leslie and Nikki Teasley
at halfcourt when another Spark player was shooting free throws. Judging
from the expression on Ms. Leslie's face, she looked displeased with Teasley
for some reason.

At another point, later in the game, Leslie grabbed Teasley's jersey to push
her to guard another player. Not in a nice way either.

Teasley has a great game against the Sting, by the way.

Tamika Dixon is no longer starting for the Sparks. She looks like she
gained 15 pounds since last season on top of the weight she gained last
year.

Macchi did extremely well against Charlotte last night including a near fight
with Smith-Taylor towards the end of the game.

Incidentally, Leslie and Teasley might have issues, but Nikki threw the most
sensational over the shoulder, behind the back pass to Leslie for an assist
last night.

I'd think Tamika is a tad peeved at the Sparks for trading her to the
Mercury, but then the Sparks pulled on the deal.
Tamika was to go to Phoenix for the #8 pick but Toler backed out

Lakers better wake up now, otherwise they're going to lose to the Pistons.

She's been getting more and more playing time in games.

Macchi started against the Sting. She did good.
