One good thing about the Kings today, they didn't lose,........ they didn't
play. It's a bad year.

The team sucks. There is no arena. They are moving in a couple of
years.

Anything else you want to talk about?

Yes, I do. Trading Webber ruined this team.

I can't believe what Grant Napear and Mike Lamp keep defending Webber's
trade. They keep saying it was one of the best trade in King's
history. First of all, how many big trade did the King had in the last
15 years. They said the trade is still pending on the next big one :)
BIG one? who is going to give up a superstar like Webber for 3 bench
players unless the Kings take on a guy with a large contract ....
Perhaps, if there is another trade pending Webber's trade, it should
happed right after they trade Webber or before the season start. I
don't know, but i do think and believe that the Kings will be over .500
if they still have Webber.

I think you need to look no further than who is employed by the Kings and
who the station is that carries the Kings. If you need a hint, look in the
dictionary under HOMER...and I don't mean Simpson.

Those 2 will be on the first plane out when the Kings are gone. Can't
wait!!!!

The trade that brought Webber to the Kings.

They said the trade is still pending on the next big one :)

In this case I am with Grant and Mike. Webber was on his way to
destroy the Kings. There are things in the locker room that few
outsiders know about.

Good point here. So, does that mean that all other teams sucked and haven't
been entertaining to ther fans? No. There was one shot that caused the Kings
to not be included in that list with at least a 1 digit, and the Lakers
reduced to 2. <sigh> One shot.

If a game is down to one shot, that could be one more three pointer or
one more two point basket anywhere during the game. Like some missed
lay ups which have been prevalent lately. I don't think entertained
fans boo their team or start leaving three minutes early as they did
tonight with the Mavericks. Incidently I think they did a damn good
job considering who they were missing. Just a little more chemistry?

The fans started booing? I often work during Kings games. I kept looking at
the score and noticed that the Kings were really in this game. Then they
lost all control. The fans were always with the team when when there were so
many chances to bury the Lakers. Now we're in last place. I don't blame the
Kings fans for booing, because I think it isn't so much against the players
as it is the whole organization.

Sure their are, that's what Grant said. He's the mouthpiece of the Maloofs.
He also said that Webber is why Divac went to Los Angeles. So we missed out
on 16 games, before he had to retire due to a chronic, recurring back
injury? How will the team recover?

It was a bad trade, in the fact that the Kings got 3 stiffs for a productive
player, and didn't lose any salary cap headaches with the trade. They
haven't been able to move any of the 20 million trio to this point, while
Webber is going 20-20 once and a while. The Kings don't have a star, are
lost and leaderless and are going to finish in last place again, because of
this trade.

What'll you give me for Kenny Thomas? Skinner? LOL, Corliess??? They're
not worth 10 points and 2 boards, and that's a fact. Together they can't
produce those lofty numers..

What do you mean again? The last time the Kings finished in last place was
1992-1993 season.

LOL, both Mike and Grant said that the Kings is the top 5 teams in the
West before the season start....maybe they should said the bottom 5 :)
they have been criticized SacBee for those misprint in their
newspaper....maybe it's their time to apologize

I'm not sure you can proclaim it a bad trade until Petrie does his work with
the pieces he received in return. Lets face it, this team was not winning a
title with or without Webber last year. Whether they like it or not, they
were in rebuilding mode after the end of the 2003-2004 season.

Petrie certainly gets too much benefit of the doubt, but his track record is
good enough that I'm willing to withhold judgement until I see the roster
he's put together to start next season.

However, I do think they should have canned Adelman already and it's fair to
criticize the organization for not replacing him with a new voice a few
years back.
