One of the most controversial contracts in NBA history closed a
chapter shortly after midnight when Boozer's six-year, $68 million
offer sheet became official.
Cavaliers general manager Jim Paxson and Gund made contact with
Boozer and his wife, CeCe, by telephone or e-mail Tuesday in an
attempt to earn an 11th-hour stay.

I read what Pax said Boozer told him, my response, big whoop. Bad
press & Pax's tears is suppose to stop a man from banking $68 mil! >> Stay informed about: Congratulations Boozer...best of luck |

Hahaha. I should have figured people would think it was just venting my
frustration over getting dumped, but no. My ball and chain is affixed quite
snugly and happily, thank you.
I just can't help but draw the parallel between modern pro atheletes and so
many gold-digging bitches. They offer up their services to whichever
sugar-daddy pampers them the most, while the honchos who can put up the most
dough get the "best looking" athletes. Boozer's situation is compounded by
the fact that he took a rare instance of kindness and consideration from one
pimp to hitch himself to one with more money. Just when I thought I'd see
integrity, character, and concern for something more than the bottom line,
this whole fiasco unfolds. >> Stay informed about: Congratulations Boozer...best of luck |

US companies have shipped MILLIONS of jobs out of the US.
Where's the integrity, character, (loyalty, patriotism) in that? >> Stay informed about: Congratulations Boozer...best of luck |

Somewhere a King is missing his Knight. I say trade LeBron
to NY, its the only way Pax can make this up to King James. >> Stay informed about: Congratulations Boozer...best of luck |

No, it's that Boozer was one of my favorite players. I liked him a lot
particularly because he *wasn't* the kind of guy to be a pampered, selfish,
bitch of an athlete. This stings extra bad because I was looking forward to
watching him play for the next few years. It was fun to listen to him yell
and whine after every single call, to see him out-hussle everyone else for a
rebound. Oh well. like I said, here's hoping for a badly destroyed knee -
that way he'll have no career and a terrible rep, but all the money he could
spend. Karmic balance. >> Stay informed about: Congratulations Boozer...best of luck |

The Cavs claim they not did violate terms of the collective
bargaining agreement (CBA) between the NBA and its players'
association in their pre-July 1 contact with Boozer, although
their own admissions seemingly make it sound as if they may have
done just that.
Even implied agreements are expressly prohibited by the CBA.
Penalties, spelled out in cba, could include a fine of up to
$3.5 million, forfeiture of draft picks and suspension of involved
team personnel for up to one year. >> Stay informed about: Congratulations Boozer...best of luck |

Indeed you are taking this far too personal.
Boozer neither knows nor cares whether you exist or get hit by a car
tomorrow. Advice: You should feel the same!!! >> Stay informed about: Congratulations Boozer...best of luck |

We've been there. Madonna, if you're reading this -- come back home!
