Beats having a shitty game followed by another shitty game.

He'll never lead the Blazers or any other team to the title. He
doesn't have it. Cut him loose now and look for someone who can and
will.

We could trade him for Fisher.....

If they make the playoffs it won't be because of Damon, it'll be
despite Damon. And you are typical Blazer fan: making the playoffs
is the main thing that thrills you, not winning them. You think the
Laker fans, for instance, would be happy with being swept and
eliminated in the first round?

Hokay, I'll bite. Where's the Shaq, Kobe, Karl, and Glove on the
Blazer roster, or reasonable facsimiles thereof? Fisher doesn't have
to be that good. But he's good enough.

Without his leadership I think they would have already folded.

"thrill"? lol....Not at all. But this season it seems a reasonable goal.
They are rebuilding, they tore the team up. That usually drops teams to the
basement. And there is that record that needs just one more season to set.
May mean nothing to you but it does to Allen, some fans and the players.
Besides any playoff experience is important in rebuild a contender. SAR
certainly could use even 4 games worth.

If I was that worried about it I would be a laker fan recently over from the
Bulls....
