MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks want to trade their 45th pick in the second
round of the NBA draft for a player already in he league.
That's what assistant general manager Dan Kohl said Tuesday.
He said a trade will give the Bucks a better chance of getting a player who
can make the team considering the depth of this year's draft.
Kohl said the team is not confident the players in college they are looking
at could do that.
He said the Bucks are looking at between five and 10 players from around the
league who play various positions. If a deal occurs, it'll be done before
Thursday.
Kohl said the team knows they won't get a starter, but wants someone who can
contribute.
Milwaukee doesn't have a first-round pick in the draft Thursday because they
traded it for Anthony Mason in 2001.

The Bucks get Zaza Pachulia (PF). Anything here? Is the 45th pick really
worse than Pachulia?

I actually thought there were some decent players who would be available at
45 (I liked Duhon quite a bit there and Burks wouldn't have been bad either).
This trade doesn't do anything for me. I hope I'm wrong about it.

Don't you all find this a little PECULIAR?

Wow, what an awesome move by Larry Harris. LOL! What we need is a
better point guard to back up T.J. Oh, he may not be the same player
after his neck/spinal injury.

Oh, just forget the NBA. GO BREWERS/ADMIRALS/PACKERS.
