He didn't draw up plays to allow his team to shoot well.

AYB? YSB.

They've had the plays all year.

If you figure Roy can draw something in the sand to stop a drought
where your PLAYERS missed 22-of-23 shots, including 12 in a row to
begin OT, you are an idiot.

That's another thing Roy did wrong. The players were clearly panicking
during the GTown rally, and Roy didn't call any timeouts to try to settle
them down.

They got their ass kicked all second half. Which part of that was the
panic?

How many champinships did Dean win while at UNC? And what was the excuse for
those years he didn't win it all?

False. Their lead at the half was 6. Then with 6 minutes to go, their
lead was 9. So they outplayed GTown for the first 14 minutes of the
second half.

So you were pleased with how things were going until 6 minutes to go?

The score moves around. Both sides make runs. With 15 minutes to go,
UNC's lead was only 3.

Maybe it was the ref's fault. You could try that one.

You're right. Georgetown was the clearly better team and their
comeback didn't surprise me. It was just a matter of time. Roy
coached a fine game. Those kids couldn't hit a shot to save their
souls.

Maybe you could use that to explain why Texas lost?

I know why Texas lost. I predicted it back in December. They might
lose in the first round of the conference tournament (and they beat
Baylor by one freaking point...). They might go to the Elite Eight...
They would go as far as they could until they had their Freshman
Moment.

They had a total of 1 player-year of D1 basketball experience on the
team. Abrams was the only player with even one season of experience.
The only one. Loads of talent. But young. All season was like
watching and waiting for the stretches where the poise of experience
would show itself as a requirement to perform at the highest levels.
They would look unstoppable. Then they would look like they were just
out of high school.

Atchley went to my high school; my son was a year behind him. He was
no huge star. Not in the papers. Just a guy with decent height. I
was shocked he got a full ride to UT. Hardley ever got off the bench
last year. But he's a critical cog in the machinery of a team like we
had this year. If P.J. and Daniel had stuck around another year...

Barnes did a great job with them this season. To finish third in
conference, second in the tournament and get to the second round was a
good season for this team.

Durant grew a lot this year. He'll be a much better defensive player
in the NFL for his time at Texas. Every kid loves to play offense.
"Give me the rock!" But it takes effort on defense to really excel. I
think he understands that a lot more than he did at the start of this
season. I look forward to seeing him at the next level.

And there are some good kids coming back, as well as four PF recruits.
I think Augustin could be POY as a junior if he sticks around. So I'm
already looking forward to next year.

Yeah. I can explain why Texas lost. Mark can explain why UNC lost.
But you... you don't care about that. You just want a corner to put
your box so you can stand on it and bitch. Your comments are shrill
and vacuous. Noise and no substance. All you really bring to the
discussion is a sense of nausea.
