It's strange because Sacramento's been blowing it up left and right
over the last few years. Maybe they really see something in him. I
see a few more lottery seasons, myself.

Glad he is not a Knick if that was the deal we needed to make.

He just had one. Bibby was injured for the first half of the season
last year. He came back and played only a few games before getting
traded to Atlanta.

Me neither...and especially from Petrie, who generally knows better
and just traded Bibby for a few spare parts, which was assumably to
get rid of a bad contract. Um...

as a spurs fan...id say lets give him a full season as a starter before
jumping to any conclusions (or offering a huge contract)

his rookie year he showed promise as parkers backup, but in the playoffs
he totally self destructed. he became a turnover machine, to the point
where pop benched him and moved barry to the backup PG.

i think it REALLY rattled the kid....but he claims popovich never gave
him a shot and he never got playing time...there has to be more to the
story. when he did get time, he didnt produce much aside from a flash
here and there.

while i admit i dont think i saw him play a single game this season, i
have heard the buzz about how great hes doing in sacramento. and my
eyes nearly bugged out when i saw it was only 10 pts and 4 assists.....

there have been questions about his work ethic all throughout his tenrue
in SA. i cant believe he got full MLE for 1 season of 10 & 4.

Sometimes starter. I saw games where AJ was starting and games when
Bibby started. Your point is well taken though. I think had he been
used more consistently and also not had Ron Ron on the team, he'd be a
servicible PG, numbers wise. He's actually a decent player. Salary
structure is out of whack though. I don't mind Gil or Brand or Baron
getting theirs. They put butts in the seats. Beno and mid level
players don't deserve that kind of cash though. They are just a long
for the ride.

I had a lot of Kings games on League Pass and he played more like a 14
and 7 guy....Better than some, but not most. Having artest on the
team is a big handicap to anyone.

I think part of that is also the landscape out there. If you don't
land a starting PG, you're starting Anthony Johnson. They are in
short supply right now.
