Paul Grant.

LOL

What a stiff he was!

What killed me about that was McSaunders saying they thought Gordon
Malone was just so good they nearly took him in the 1st round instead
of Grant, like it was this great stroke of luck to have Malone drop to
them in the 2nd round... and then Trevor Winter beat them both for a
roster spot. Good times...

Jefferson has upside in many respects. One he is an excellent offensive
player. Second he has a great attitude. And, he is great trade material.
The only negatives are his ankles.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kevin follows Danny's footsteps and trades away
players like Green, Gomes and Telfair for either a high draft pick or a
veteran.

I post over at Britt Robson's blog at Rakmag now. It's the best place
on the web to post about the Wolves. http://www.rakemag.com/blogs/ball

Anyway, I'm really happy with Jefferson. The kid is a beast and at 22
years old, 3 years out of high school, he's already 20/12 and 50
percent from the field. While Brewer is having ups and downs, I like
what I see. I still think Foye will be a good to great player. Too
bad he's hurt.

I'm really down about Wittman and McCants. I don't see much of a
future for either of these guys.

While he'll never play D like KG, he his own plusses. He already has
shown a willingness to take shots in the fourth. He's not scared of
crunch time. He also is a banger who will mix it up inside and take
it to the basket. He's a classic PF that a team can build around. I
love his game.

Offensively, it seems to me like Jefferson is a lot more interested in
the rim than Garnett was at the same age.

Really, why? I wasn't too wild about McCants but he seems to have
come out of the game strong this year. I really can't claim to know
much about Wittman as a coach, so I don't know if he's suited to the
job.
