| I just caught the highlights (if you can call them that) of todays game and
was wondering if the crowd was booing Garnett after the ball throwing thing
or were they booing the call?

Can you say, "lawsuit"? KG is going to have to pay that pussy a few
thousand for "pain and suffering."

Well, the way the team has played lately I wouldn't be surprised if Garnett
got booed. >> Stay informed about: the Garnett thing |

Didn't see that (got home just in time for the 4th quarter). From the
lone replay I saw, it looked like KG sort of just gingerly tossed the
ball - I was shocked it was such a big deal. But from reading this, it
sounds like he full-out threw it. Did my eyes deceive me?

Nope. It looked like a soft toss to me, with the guy who got hit
seeing dollar signs instead of stars. I thought the fans were correct
to boo the guy. >> Stay informed about: the Garnett thing |

I didn't pick up the game till after KG was tossed, and then on the
radio. When I got home and watched the
news replay, I could not believe he was thrown out. I actually hadn't
known they were playing in the afternoon,
and when I turned on KFAN was surprised. I heard Eddie Griffin was in
the game, and it sounds like Justin Reed
was getting some minutes. I approve of both. >> Stay informed about: the Garnett thing |

IIRC That part is automatic now for a Ball. They T them up now if they throw a headband into the
crowd too.
Old rule was:
p. The deliberate act of throwing the ball or any object at an official by a player, coach or
trainer is a technical foul and violators are subject to ejection from the game.
The change is not up at nba.com adding 'into the stands' but they still have the old penalties for
Ts too so it is not updated.

Again, I'll opine that it was totally classless of the fans.
I've waited until more information became available to
comment - as I suggested, it seems that the medical
staff was responsible for taking the man out in a wheel
chair. He was dazed and somewhat confused.
Krush, I just don't understand why you think it's correct
to boo the guy. >> Stay informed about: the Garnett thing |

*acting*.

Because it was obvious the *guy was totally classless* by acting as if
he was hurt. The fan sitting next to him summed it up best when he
said it wasn't an Oscar worthy performance. >> Stay informed about: the Garnett thing |

Lynch mom mentality krush....tsk tsk tsk....the 7 year old was crying.
Anyhow, how about the trade talk for KG
http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/chi-0602280232feb28,1,5217269.sto...coll=ch
I like the Clipper trade, I'd do that now. KG can be happy, we can be
happy for him, and we'd have Brand,
that's almost a fair trade straight up, but with him and Maggette,
terrific.
The Pacer deal seems fair too, I love JO, he's spunky as hell. >> Stay informed about: the Garnett thing |

I don't think the Clippers would do that trade. Brand is having an MVP
season and probably rates as "untouchable" for them. Besides, they're
not desperate enough for this. Why would they break up a team that's
knocking on the door of contention to essentially start over? >> Stay informed about: the Garnett thing |

"Lynch mom"!!! LOL! But it was my impression that
the loudest booing came from redneck Viking fans.
Either way, it's hard to imagine Krush in either crowd.

I guess it's not just "us" who recognize the ineptness
of the McTaylor management:
: The Timberwolves and Garnett mostly ignore the incessant
: prattling about Garnett leaving the long misguided, underachieving
: franchise, though there continue to be rumors and reports--TNT
: added another last week--that the Timberwolves wouldn't stand
: in Garnett's way if he wanted to be traded.
:
: "Sounds to me like they wouldn't mind moving him but don't
: want the blame,"

Is there a really a sea-change at the Clippers? Since when
does Sterling want to be a true contender instead of a bottom
feeding money grubber?
Clipps will need to replace Cassell pretty soon. >> Stay informed about: the Garnett thing |
