There is no excuse for Cavs management not to offer Memphis whatever
was needed to get Gasol to Cleveland to play with Lebron. The
Grizzlies were willing to accept Marion for Gasol. Cleveland could
have put together a comparable package. If I was Lebron, I would leave
Cleveland as soon as my contract is up. The Cavs are not doing what is
necessary to help Lebron win a championship.

the grizzlies primary goal was to clear cap space. they did that by
moving gasol and taking brown's expiring contract at $9mil (it's not
like they actually want the guy to play - the first time he touched
the ball as a grizzy, he committed an offensive foul and then another
foul four seconds later. his line was 4 pts. 4 rebounds, 3 fouls in 15
minutes and was a -14.) the lakers also gave up THREE first round
draft picks (if you consider that crittenden was the lakers 2006 1st
round pick ) AND the rights to marc gasol along with aaron mckie just
to make the dollars work.

so instead of whining, let's hear suggestions on how the cavs could
have matched that - especially since we don't have any major contracts
expiring at the end of the 2008 season.

The Cavs could have given them exactly what they want, if it were 2009...as
little as Memphis got, Cleveland couldn't have matched it, since clearing
salary is all they cared about.

plus the only guy everyone wants in the package is gibson. he's the
only guy on the team who can keep teams from collapsing on lebron
driving to the hoop (not that that is particularly effective from
keeping lebron from scoring, but lebron will always make the unselfish
play and pass off to the open man).

at the end of this season, i'd expect ferry to be working the phone 16
hours a day if not more so working to bring in a stud who will
complement lebron's play.

i hate to say this being from cleveland - a win vs detroit and beating milw on the road I'm getting excited

Cleveland and championships don't mix - Forget it, Cleveland losers: http://snipr.com/twilight_zone_tix

Thank you Cleveland! For taking Lebron and not Wade! - Heat fan here just wanting to say thanks to you for not selecting wade. Of course nobody knew Wade was going to be a Superstars Superstar...actually let's face it.... he's the best player by far in the N.B.A Lebron is a media production, Wade earned it.....

Cleveland Cavaliers are totaly going to the finals - Everybody might of thought that the Cavaliers were going to get swept but look where there at now they have caught the Pistons off guard and there beating the Pistons at there own game and they are going to fly on past the Pistons and destroy the Miami..
