I would hope the Wolves would try and get this kid squared away. I saw
some comments in Robsons area on the Rake about Corey Brewer reminding
them of Teshaun Prince. Green looks long like Prince. I think Gerald
is smart enough to know he's going to stick in the NBA if he learns to
defend. 42% 3 point shooter. The wolves need that badly. If Brewer
could shoot at that rate from the arc, he'd be rookie of the year.

Isn't there some defensive guru that could work with Green? I think it
would be worth the investment. Unfortunately I don't think you learn
defense unless you get the minutes. It's not like learning shooting
or ballhandling. So he's in sort of a catch 22.

As the article says, the Wolves have way too many combo players, and
there's no playing time at small forward or shooting guard. All the
playing time that went to Walker seems to have been a waste, since he
never got going consistently enough to either help the team win or be
tradeable, so I hope after the trade deadline he's benched for the
rest of the year and younger players get his minutes.
