Exactly. That was my point. There was no need for the race card and it

Verizon called, says people on this group have been overusing this
particular expression, says your service will be disconnected if you don't
pay your long distance bills.
Also, they say you can save a bunch of money on their Triple Play Fios
offer if you switch from Cablevision.

Money talks. Rookie salaries aren't that high here in comparison to
there, especially when the dollar's worth fifty euro-cents and
sinking.

Just as there are the Bryants and Garnetts who have flourished in this
game, and there are a lot of Americans who come in and sit or never
play.
Talent's talent. Trying to shoehorn everyone from Europe into a
stereotype is a waste of time. The point here is, is this kid
Gallinari really such a star on offense that you can overlook his lack
of defense? Most of the time, players who can't play D (American,
European, or from anywhere else) can't make up for their errors on the
defensive end, regardless of how often they score. Throw him into a
roster where there really isn't a single stopper and you're just
asking for trouble, methinks. >> Stay informed about: Good luck with that pick |

Good point(s) We don't know yet about Gallinari because other than
highlights nobody has seen him play. But stereotyping Euro players is
stupid. 2007 Finals MVP is a European player. So was the 2007 League
MVP. Then there is Nikolas Tshikasvili who was picked 5thor 6th I
think overall by Denver.

Too deep (and long winded) for this forum. If you really want my
opinion on that, because it is pretty detailed, email me.

I guess I'm confused as to what it is you like about him. To me,
Lee's strength is basically his offensive rebounding -- in a manner
similar to what Camby used to do here, he's good at boxing out,
cleaning up the rim and turning all the bricks into putbacks (of which
there were many, given all the ill advised shots the Knicks jack up).
I don't think he plays particularly notable man on man defense, though
he often did appear to be trying, unlike most of his teammates. In
the era of rock bottom expectations, maybe that's enough for people. >> Stay informed about: Good luck with that pick |

I'm calling your bluff...I've heard you say that over and over again
over the years, but between your yawns and your claims of disinterest

I like Lee as a rebounder and that is it. That is why I won't be shedding
any tears if he goes.
I do like Lee better than any other Knick at this moment though, so when he
does leave, I may lose interest in this team all together. >> Stay informed about: Good luck with that pick |
