Not a troll and have lived in the gretaer pdx area for 30 years. Oden was a
risk that looks worse by the day. Bummer.

horribly bad? It's not great, but maybe we should wait for the whole
story to come out before we start talking about it being horrible. If
it's a simple scope, big deal.

I was a bigtime advocate of picking Oden over Durant. But I had no
idea that Oden had these kinds of issues, especially to this degree.
What we have here is a 19 year old already with back problems and knee
problems, and he hasn't played even one second of the notoriously
grueling NBA season yet. Hell, he didn't even get through his senior
year of high school nor his one and only college season without being
out due to injury. Can we all just agree that on that basis alone it
ain't looking particularly auspicious?

As a Warrior fan which makes me not biased in PDXs favor, I say it is
next to nothing. Monta Ellis was also 19 coming off knee surgery his
rookie season and it has worked out for him physically. He's arguably
the quickest guard in the league. Baron Davis had knee, ankle and
back problems before the Ws took on his contract, and that has worked
out. I'd be more concerned about the wrist than the knee.. He'll be
fine.
