Guildford Heat become Poujoulat Heat, Guildford

The Heat have announced a strategic sponsorship deal with Poujoulat UK
Ltd, that will see the Guildford Heat renamed as the Poujoulat Heat,
Guildford. The sponsorship is a potential six figure deal that will run
for the rest of this season and continue through May 2008, with
possible extensions until May 2010.


Mike Davies, Chairman of the Heat said, 'This is a very important day
in the history of the Guildford Heat. In just over 18 months we have
setup the team, been competitive in the UK's top pro basketball
league and now have a partnership with a local Guildford company which
will help move the club even further forward. I am pleased to be
working with Poujoulat and look forward to a long and fruitful
partnership.'
