With the Guildford Heat's fantastic victory tonight over league
contenders the Scottish Rocks, they have sealed their place in the
2005/06 Playoff in just their first year. A thrilling game at the
Spectrum saw the mighty Heat snatch a 1 point victory over the Rocks
with 2 points from the line in the dying second from Brian Dux.
The Heat still needed a favourable result in the game between Milton
Keynes and Brighton, and after 2 periods of overtime the Bears finally
won the game 122-124, ensuring the Heat can now not be caught.
