>From ESPN the Magazine Ric Bucher:
In the first game of the pivotal season in Darko Milicic's invisible
career, Bulls forward Andres Nocioni drove the lane, and Milicic, as is
his unfortunate habit, thought about what to to instead of doing it.
When his coach, Brian Hill, shouted instructions from the far end of
the court, Milicic shrugged and held his had to his ear, the
international sign for "I don't understand." Help came from an
unexpected translator.
"He wants you to cover the middle!" yelled Bulls headman Scott Skiles.
That is so Skiles. It's hard to believe he was once a player, he has
so completely become a member of the coaching fraternity.
(Plus for Ric this is pretty good. The balance is good, the piece is
efficient but not at the expense of effect.)
