Webster, who turns 21 in December, seems to be maturing. He entered training
camp perhaps in better shape than any Blazers player -- he logged the
fastest time in McMillan's conditioning test -- and he accepts coaching as
if he were a training camp invitee hoping to land a roster spot.
The transformation in attitude has led to an evolution in his game. Webster
says he doesn't just put in extra work for show, he focuses on various
aspects of his game to help his overall play. For example, he continually
worked on a move after practice last week with shooting coach John Townsend
in which Webster stood outside the three-point line, faked as if he were
dribbling toward the basket, only to step back and stroke a shot.
He swished a shot using the move Wednesday night.

He will start at SG tonight.
