when we were talking about Jamison, you said him getting good stats on a bad
team didn't mean anything either. Now Jamison's getting good stats on a
good team. I think Zach would be a success on any team he plays for and it
doesn't matter that he's on this *bad* blazer team. It's nice to see you
finally admit we're bad =)

it's nice to be able to actually refer to someone on our team as a
(potential) superstar. I'd love to have someone like TMac, Iverson, or some
other superstud. If we're destined to go down this year, I just assume do
it with some excitement and a reason to cheer. Players who are fun to
watch. Players who produce. Right now our reason is Zach. It's going to
be great watching him improve and dominate.

Bingo. So now they mean more.

You may be right about Zach, I tend to agree that his game would fit about
anywhere, but plenty of players that put up great stats on bad teams do not
carry them over to a good team See Stoudamire....and 2 months is not a
career.

They are bad right now. Not really from lack of talent though, so I still
see no reason to panic.
If Zach's break out season makes the team so much better, why is not their
record better than last year?

We have had one of those for years....

Do not be shocked if he hits a wall and slumps for awhile.

it's kinda funny when we had pippen, bonzi, da healthy, sabas, and everyone
else, we had too much talent. Now it appears we don't have enough talent.

I think when DA's back, we'll improve and if we got a good guy at center
(not a washed up bag of bones), I think the combo would be enough to make us
a solid playoff team. We're close, but we're not there.

it happens, but his consistency has been pretty superlative thus far. I
like his passion and willingness to get better. He's not a stubborn prick
who thinks he knows everything and that's a great quality for a young guy
with his ability.

I do not think they will be better with DA over McInnis. He is just as
streaky. But the PGs are being worn out right now and the depth will help.

Wait until the write up on him comes out in SI....

I wouldn't be surprised either. When you start scoring 25-30 a night, other
teams have to take notice and try to come up with something defensively to
stop you. In fact, while I don't know if I'd call it a slump yet, I'd say he
already hit a bit of a wall on this 3-game road trip.
