Hi what did you think of our winning the trophy? Everyone here was so
happy they had not seen a championship in many years!
Red would be so proud!

We were staying up late to watch the games because they didnt' start
til 9:30 here in Boston. Everyone was so excited, all wearing green
jerseys and there was a big parade with the duck boats through Boston
for the champions! It was a long time but Paul Pierce lead his team
along with Ray Allen,Kevin garnett and all the young guys and old guys
fought hard! It was a great time and well deserved!
Glad you could enjoy it too even though you are in Italy!

Well saying I am happy is an understatement.

During the finals I used to wake up at 4.30am to watch third and fourth
quarters with no audio on tv and "silently" shouting for each Ray's jumper,
Paul drive, KG's blocked shot...

I am not ashamed to tell you I was crying for happyness at the end of game
#6 when I listened to the post game interview of Our Captain...

I am a long time C's fan since the 80's. No internet, No sat tv, just had 2
wait two days and read the box score and be happy or not for the outcome.

This is an end of what looked like a real curse: tragedies, f***ing San
Antonio ping pong balls, bad executives (did I say ML?)...

It's nice to be wearing a 25 year old Starter C's jacket when the temp
outside it's in the high 80s :), that's what I said to a Fakers fan: they
told me it's been cold in Boston: -39 LOL

I'd say 200 miles, not close for the italian standards (being the whole
peninsula about 800 Miles long...)., or maybe because of traffic ;)

That must be Murano island which is in Venice lagoon, that island is well
known for glass and stuff like that.

it's 70 miles round trip to my parents house with 1.5 milion people living
between us and they live in the same city(Las Vegas)...so 200 miles is not
that far over here

Kewl! You live in Vegas, I've been there in 1999. Whoa thats a HOT city
(weather and not only...).

I'm not a big fan of Casinos so we went to Lake Mead and man that day was SO
HOT. I couldnt stand in the sunshine...

Vegas reminds me of good CHEAP Margaritas... 99c only :)

I used to stay at the Stratosphere, is it still there?

Ciao
ASC

P.S. You must work for a Casino then. I bet you had the Celtics at 40/1
before KG was traded to the C's :)))

I worked at the Stardust when the Chicago mob ran it in the 70's and early
80's...
I beleive the number was closer to 75-1 around that time but your
bet would be wrong...I've been a Laker's fan (as are most basketball fans
in Vegas) for 20 years now...sorry to disappoint you...

I would love to see Venice,Padua and Treviso...now THAT'S Kewl and
cool(around 80 I would guess) and now that I've checked I was right...

....don't think it's in the 'cards' for me though...
