KG on Smith and Foye, and KG/Hassell spat

Craig Smith has been a pleasant surprise during the preseason, and now
it's easy to see why McHale was so high on him, despite his height.
Here is KG's take on Smith and Foye:

Wolves all-star Kevin Garnett already is a fan of Foye and second-round
pick Craig Smith, who had eight points and seven rebounds in 15 minutes
against Indiana.

"I love young fella, him and Craig," Garnett said. "Nothing against
Bracey (Wright) and (Rashad) McCants; those two (Foye and Smith) are
really hard-working young guys. I like all our young guys. I told Randy
this: He's going to be something special.

"Craig knows how to play. He's unselfish. He knows how to work off the
ball. He's energetic. Those two are going to be in this league for a
long time. I look forward to watching them flourish."

Looks like he likes the two rookies. And were those veiled shots at
McCants and Wright?

Does anybody know exactly what happened between KG and Hassell? The
paper reported that they got into it during practice, and Casey had to
hold a team only meeting, but what exactly happened? KG and Hassell
are known to be tight, so that report was a real surprise.

It's hard to remember sources, but I read somewhere that it wasn't as
much a disagreement between KG and Trenton, but more of a disagreement
with Trenton and another player (who was unspecified).

Apparently KG interfered, and Trenton, who was still mad, had an
exchange with him.
