Archived from groups: alt>sports>basketball>nba>sac-kings (more info?)

If the Kings could head into the playoffs with a completely healthy team
that had been playing together for several months then they would have a
*chance* of getting to the conference finals and maybe even the NBA
Championship game.

But that's not going to happen. With the addition of three new key players
and the subtraction of C. Webb, the Kings need more time to gel. Cutino
Mobley is still learning his role. If the Kings get out of the first round
it will be without home-court advantage and probably against the odds.

The continual injury problems don't help. There is a *possibility* that
Bobby Jackson will be back. But what will that do to Mo Evans and Eddie
House, who do a pretty damn good job. And there is a *possibility* that Brad
Miller will be back. But what condition will he be in? And how will Skinner
do if he is bounced back to the bench.

The lack of continuity is frustrating.
