I was very frustrated this season when many games were on NBA TV rather
than something more accessible, even at a fee like the WNBA Season
Pass... but i can't believe that the WNBA is opting to have most of the
playoffs also on NBA TV, meaning we CAN"T see them! I thought Oxygen at
least would get more games. None of the Charlotte-Connecticut series,
for example, will be viewable...that is inexcusable in my book.

I've been writing to the WNBA and ESPN about this, but maybe I'm the
only one still interested - since even my interest waned this season
without as many games to watch?!

I'd suggest contacting your local Fox Sports channel and asking that they cover
more games.

ok. but what's fox got to do with it, specifically? aren't they just
another outlet? where's the real story about why there's scant wnba
coverage? i thought this was a news group;0). has anybody put out an
explanation anywhere? or will we get the definitive tasha byears story
first? i can't believe the changes i've had to go thru to see games. at
least i had some options. others had none.

I'm afraid I can't lend any facts to this, only speculation. But for Fox to
specifically pull WNBA games except out of their local markets (which they did)
requires some effort. I'm guessing that it has to do with the loss of the
Season Ticket package. Someone at DTV decided that if they can't sell the games
packaged that way, they won't allow them to be seen by their viewers for free.
