No official word from the team about Pierce's knee. Initial word was
that it was a strain and not a tear, which would be good news. Pierce
certainly hasn't done the travelling around that both Garnett and
Allen have done, so I'm assuming he's been told to rest a bit to let
it heal fully. If he has to go under the knife, it will probably be
pretty soon.

still dont know what is the obsession about pierce's injury...if you
played any kind of sports ever, you have to know that there are a times
when you get hit or whatever that there is no way that you can walk for
the next 2-3-5 minutes, but afterwards its all ok

i think there is a huge difference between the two sports in terms of
being able to play with an injury. also faux pierce didnt show any
signs of pain like tiger did. and you never have seen tiger throwing
up gang signs or flopping every other time he swings his club. lol
