Let's face it, there is no more "homerific" media than Boston's. Where
do you think the phrase "Manny being Manny" comes from? The term "Evil
Empire"? (I don't mean the USSR, I mean the NY Yankees). In the Boston
media they are actually lambasting the predominantly Yankee fans as the
AS game for booing Redsox players - but not a peep about Papeldouche's
ludicrous comments about Mariano Rivera or "Manny being Manny" and not
tipping his cap during the intros. Ramirez is a douchebag and the irony
is that when he was with the Indians, the Boston media and fans thought
he was the world's biggest douchebag. Now he's a Redsock and they will
excuse anything he does.
