Pat Summitt ties the record..

I only watched the first half of the game (ESPN 2 switched to a more
'competitive' one two thirds of the way through the first quarter0...

In checking the box score I see that Summitt played two subs for only 5
minutes and 2 minutes each, this despite the fact she had a 30 point
lead for practically all of the last half.

Why not put those two kids in for at least the last ten minutes of the
game? Why run up the score like that? I appreciate they only scored
32 points in the last half, but still, even that wasn't necessary...

Any comments

(I am a Summitt fan - I hope they go all the way! I just don't see the
need to destroy the other team so totally..)

Well it is like this her bench was playing.You ust be talking about the
2 walk on's.One of the;the Cannon girl was in for alot longer time than
2 min.The last girl came on with about 2 min's to go.But has for Pat's
bench ;they would be starters on other teams.So she played her bench.
