This is awesome to see. Bob, congrats not only on the championship but
on Pierce finally turning the corner into a winning basketball player.
We all knew he *could* but once players go down that shot-jacking
path, not many of them make it back.

I wonder what Antoine Walker was thinking tonight ...

Cheers,
Chris Hafner

ALL I WANTED PP WAS TO BE EXACTLY WHAT HE'S BEEN THROUGH MOST OF THE SEASON
AND THROUGHOUT THE PLAYOFFS. HE "GOT IT" IN THE WAY THAT KOBE MAY NEVER GET
IT.

I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW GRATIFYING THIS SEASON HAS BEEN. TO SEE PP TURN INTO A
TRUE CELTICS HAS BEEN WONDERFUL. FOR YEARS, JOE M. AND I HAVE SAID IT OVER
AND OVER AGAIN. IF PP IS A FACILITATOR AND MADE HIS TEAMMATES BETTER, THE
C'S WOULD BE SUCCESSFUL.

THE LAKERS RAN INTO THE PERFECT CELTICS STORM TONIGHT. PP, RA AND KG ALL DID
WHAT THEY WERE NEEDED. PP - 10 ASSIST, RA 7-9 FROM 3, KG 10-8 AND 14
BOARDS.

I SWORE TO MY FRIEND THAT BECAUSE OF PP'S TURNAROUND, I'M DRIVING TO THE NBA
STORE IN NYC AND GETTING A PP AUTHENTIC JERSEY. WHILE HE WAS PLAYING LIKE A
POOR MANS KOBE, I WOULD NOT GET HIS JERSEY. BUT NOW THAT HE'S PLAYED LIKE A
HAVLICEK FOR THE NEW MILLENIUM, I'M GOING TO PAY MY REPSECT BY WEARING HIS
JERSEY TOO.

I wonder what Antoine Walker was thinking tonight ...

THAT HE WISHED HE NEVER HEARD OF RICK PITINO?

AWWW..COMEW ROBB..C'S JUST WON. SOMEONE A LONG TIME AGO IN THIS NG POINTED
OUT TO ME, I DON'T KNOW ANY OF THESE GUYS PERSONALLY. IT'S ALL BBALL AND
ENTERTAINMENT.

'TWANS PROBLEM WAS THAT HE WASN'T THE PLAYER HE THOUGHT HE WAS. BUT HE DID
GIVE IT 100% AND HE DID LEAD THE C'S TO THAT TERRIFIC COMEBACK AGAINST NJ IN
2002.

Yep, there goes another number in the rafters. :0) And I hate to admit it,
but I was calling for his to be traded in the not too distant past. Damn
I'm so glad Danny is running this team a not me.

Great series by Pierce, but I think him and Allen should have been co-MVP's.
