I mean, Penn State does technically get the NO1. seed but the
advantage is obviously UCONN. UCONN plays in Connecticut for the 1st
two rounds then gets homecourt to the Final Four. I think that the
NCAA commity was really trying to say that UCONN didn't get a NO1 seed
because they didnt earn but they are saying UCONN does deserve
homecourt advantage to the final four where they will have 16,000+
screaming fans for them. Sure Happy Valley will bring a good group of
fans to Hartford but they cannot compete with the UCONN fans. I have
watched maybe 2 games of theres on TV and the crowd was ballistic
everytime they scored. Penn State has a great crowd, don't get me
wrong, but maybe 500 people max(probably) cannot at all compete with
16000. Ya know? I just think that the commity did not do a very good
job with Penn State and they are giving UCONN a free ride to the Final
Four. A match-up that I would love to see though is UCONN PSU on a
NEUTRAL court or PSU-Tennessee.
