Yes... I know that there is always a chance that if you make the
playoofs, that "anything" could happen. However, being realistic and
considering the teams future, I'd rather they NOT get in and have a
chance at a decent lottery pick.

The offseason should prove to be quite interesting especially with the
uncertainty of what will happen with Allen Iverson. What do you guys
think?

Thanks

My reason for not wanting to make the playoffs is the example of the Knicks.
If you keep barely squeaking in year after year, management feels little
pressure to address the fundamental problems with the team. Considering that
the Sixers have pretty much reverted to a pre-Brown level, they have need of
major personnel, management, or coaching changes. If they were to make the
playoffs (which seems pretty out of the question now), management would have
justification for playing wait and see over the summer.

If we do get a lottery pick, I'd like to see the team draft a big tough
power forward, move Kenny Thomas to small forward. Move AI to point guard,
start Willie Green at shooting guard. Dalembert to play center, of course.

A healthy Marc Jackson, with Zendon Hamilton, to back up at 4 and 5. Kyle
Korver and Big Dog off the bench to fill out the frontcourt. John Salmons
and Eric Snow to back up in the back court. Bye-bye Aaron McKie and Greg
Buckner.

DC moves to assistant coach.

Playoffs? - Went to the game last night vs Cavs. They looked pretty good without AI! Seems like Cleveland had the same problem as the Sixers have had most of the year, an over-reliance on its star. LeBron was weak last night, and the Cavs looked pretty sorry. ..

Make a poster from that great 76'rs photo - Local Phila company can take you photo/slide/negative or digital file and make 18x24 or 24x36 poster for you. Cheapest prices on or off the web htpp://www.posterjetstudio.com

Sixers forgive France - The Sixers have one-upped the State Department, forgiving the charter member of the Axis of Weasels, by giving employment (however short-lived) now to the famous Paccelis Morlende, Point Guard from, er, Dijon, and I'm not talking about the mustard. ----...

Alonzo Mourning - Even with his kidney condition, I'd take a chance and sign him. Even if he has to be restricted to 24 - 30 minutes a night, fine, grab him. We can fill the rest of the center minutes with Dalembert and Coleman (or if the Sixers are very lucky,..

Sixers set their sights low - According to the Inky this morning, the Sixers are looking to sign a free agent center! Alonzo Mourning? Noooooo. They are looking at Andrew DeClerq and Marc Jackson. Bleeaaaaaaahhhh. Go for 'Zo! ----- Kurt Straub
