I think the Pistons would have an easier time with the Raptors in the
opening round than the 76ers. The 76ers are a scary team. Mo Cheeks
is an excellant basketball man. And the team, like Joe says, is young
and athletic. Dalembert is a monster on the boards ranking 11th in
the NBA in rebounds. Closest Piston is McDyess at 30th.
Andre Iguodala is 33rd in the league in scoring. No Pistons is in the
top 50.
What this means is Detroit must play a total team game against the
76ers. They'll need to limit Philly's rebounding by making their
shots and they'll need to slow the game using their half court game
more so as to take Philly's athleticism out of the quotient. I think
Detroit wins this series 4-1.
