Abe's problem is pettiness. This manifests itself in loving his
championship team so much he sells each subsequent team down the river.
That's a very small thing to do for 25 years. Here's the whole thing in a
nutshell. Jarvis Hayes can't get "HAYES" on his locker. Because he'll
never be Elvin Hayes. Not under Abe Pollin. This pettiness pervades the
entire area around MCI. This is why The Suze does such a great job. On the
