Great signing by NO -- not the best news for Boston and LA.

Good news that the Celtics bench got weaker, Posey killed the Lakers
in game 4.
Hornets become a tougher out.

It appears to me Lakers' list of veteran free agents run out. I haven't
heard either Sasha and Ronny sign with Lakers or other teams.

Ronny signed an offer sheet from the warriors. Lakers have until tomorrow to
match.
Likely they do not match.
GSW frontloaded the contract so it would cost the lakers about 10 in salary
and tax next year.

Pretty gutsy move by Posey to leave the champs, though the Hornets will
indeed likely be even better next season.

Bad news for us, for probably the next couple of years. At least Utah
hasn't gotten better yet...have they?

Tough go again next year anyway.

It might be optimistic, but then again, it wasn't all that long ago
that the Lakers themselves not only made it to three Finals in a row,
they won all of them.

Oh I don't think it will be so tough once Andrew is back and
filling up the middle. I think the Lakers will do just fine
with Drew, Pao, and Lamar. With all the talk about getting a
hatchet man the likes of Ron Artest, it seems that everyone
has forgotten we will have one of the most dominant big men in
the game... Andrew Bynum. As close as the finals were, do you
really think the Celts would have won the championship if Drew
was healthy and was playing for the Lakers?

Wow, if this isn't optimistic. The Spurs called and they just wanted to
say how difficult it is to go to the finals in back to back years.

You're right - it was only 8 years ago; it just *feels* like 15 or 20....

He's got his ring - now that he's figured out you can't buy a new mansion
with the ring - he wants the money.

He has two rings.

In Miami, and then he went to Boston and got another.

I'm not sure, but I'm not sure we win the West in '08 vs a NO plus Posey
either.
