Reggie Miller will most certainly make the Hall of Fame on the first
ballot. Maybe he deserves it... but consider this:

Miller never made All NBA 1st or 2nd Team in his entire career. Miller
never made an All Defensive Team in his career. Miller has never won a
championship. Miller never finished higher than 8th in scoring. This is
especially surprising since he was never much of a defender, passer or
rebounder. Miller averaged 18ppg,3 assists/gm,3 rebounds/gm during his
NBA career. Hardly eye-popping Hall of Fame numbers.

By contrast, Dennis Rodman might never get voted into the Basketball
Hall of Fame despite the fact that he is the greatest rebounder of his
generation. One of the 5 greatest defensive players in NBA history. Led
the league in rebounding for the all time record 7 consecutive seasons.
Rodman was 2-Time Defensive Player of the Year, and made 1st team All
Defense six times. Oh yeah...Rodman was a major contributor in 5 NBA
Championships.

There are a lot of other list Reggie is on. The specific ones you mentioned
are only the big Hype ones. He is one of the best jump shooters in history,
and is the number one 3 point maker. he has played in 29 Playoff games.
Rodman only went to teams that were going to the playoffs, Reggie stayed
with the same team for ever. Reggie is the best clutch shooter in the
business.

You just left out to much to make your point. Therefore it is invalid.

Rodman was traded. He could have been traded to the Clippers,
but it just so happened that two teams (SA and Chicago) thought
he'd be the missing piece. Hell, San Antonio got him for
Bill Curley, they'd be nuts to turn that deal down.

You could say that he didn't exactly want to stay in Detroit
after a certain point, or San Antonio. But I don't think he
had any say in the matter of where he was traded at all.

He may have the lowest scoring average of any guy in there,
but Rodman absolutely deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.
On the other hand, if he doesn't make it I doubt that he'd
care.

Reggie's a hell of a clutch shooter, I'll give you that.
But can one Finals appearance (a loss) = the best ever?
I don't think so.

Reggie is the best shooter of all the time, but most of all is the
best player ever in moving without the ball. He touched so many
lives... I'm italian I think think Reggie deserve more than just be an
Hall of Fame!

Also, Jerome James is the best player who doesn't move more
than four inches in any direction the entire game. Look it
up.

Yes! Statues of Reggie! International Reggie Day! Reggie Week!
It'll be like the Festival of Reason without the Marseillaise!
