Ron Artest -- give him a break

For the life of me, I can't see why the media is so hard on Ron Artest,
probably because he's an easy target now and not much else to talk
about in the NBA. Players and media don't wan't to get on Stern's
badside, so he's got very few friends in my opinion.

All of this started, obviously with the Detroit brawl. But c'mon, if
some one threw a drink on my face when I was lying down after I was
already humiliated by a cheapo push in the face by Ben Wallace (what a
jerk) .. I don't know how I would react. Sure, it wasn't right and he
should have controlled his anger, but I would guess many people would
have reacted the same way.

Second, Ron Artest DID NOT throw punches until he was punched, he only
confronted the fan who he THOUGHT punched him. Doesn't anybody pick up
on how badly the media twisted this story??

So, in Artest's history, theres some reports he threw a camera (even
coaches have lost it at times) , maybe he's a bit goofy at times, and
he asks for a trade ... ok, hello ... VINCE CARTER, ALONZO MOURNING,
what about them, they didn't get any fine, in fact Zo GOT MORE MONEY
for being traded and both are sitting pretty.

And now they are trying to paint Artest as a Dennis Rodman?!??
WTF!!!!!

Artest has MY RESPECT, because he's putting up with all this BS pretty
well. He trained like a madman in suspension, people treat him like
SHIT, why wouldn't he want a new start!?!?!?
