Celts fan here...just wanted to chime in on Ryan Gomes. I think you
guys are going to love this guy. He is a hard working player, and he
has some skills too...he's not just a role player. Nose for the ball,
and he works as hard as anyone on the floor. I know he is no KG, and he
isn't going to be a superstar, but between Jefferson and Gomes, I think
you will come to love watching these two guys...

Early word is that Gomes will be cut

I've heard this before. I think we have a nucleus, but one of the
views of this is that Ainge managed to move
most of his roster here, in two deals, and comes away with our star.
Pretty pretty pretty schrewd, as Larry
David says. Sid Hartman our local columnist is absolutely of that
opinion, and thinks if the averaged under
30 wins in Boston, they'll do the same. It should be a steep learning
curve. I do think Craig Smith, and
Foye have some of the KG legacy of dedication, and character, and
Brewer coming in from a winning program
should help too. I have a hard time figuring where Telfair fits in
with these guys though.

Telfair should be yelling "peanuts...get yer peanuts" at the games...

>From all I've read the Wolves would be crazy to cut this kid. When
you think about it, he's a four year college player from the Big East.
It seems like he'd be a great compliment to Craig Smith, playing
together, and spelling him. He does have to compete with Richard.
It
seems we've gone from a surplus of guards, to a surplus of 2-3's. I
hope Mark Blount is working with a navy seal this summer than knows
something about boxing out. <pipe dream I know.
