the last thing the NBA needs is to expand. they are using too many

Nope, much like the Cleveland Browns moving, Seattle kept the name,
colors, and history, and if Seattle gets a new franchise that will
become the Supersonics.
That's the way it should be. Honestly, Johnny Unitas never played for
the Indianapolis Colts, the Los Angeles Lakers only won 9 titles, not

I'm still having a hard time believing Oklahoma has the market for an NBA

Do you mean when they were fixing the New Orleans arena after Katrina? No,
actually, it worked out very well from a ticket-sales and profitability
perspective. So, it would appear they have a fan base to support the team.
To the OP's point: I agree, no more expansion, but I suspect Seattle may end
up with a team fairly soon from one of the struggling franchises (Memphis
