EAST RUTHERFORD - Still bothered by Lawrence Frank's criticism of the
officiating on Friday, Shaquille O'Neal called the Nets coach "Laura" after
yesterday's game, suggesting Frank's manhood was in question for complaining
that the referees didn't call enough fouls on O'Neal earlier in the series.
"I wish they'd go to a manly tactic," the big man said. "No whining. When he
whined, that's why I changed his name to Laura Frank."
O'Neal laughed after he said it, and seemed pretty amused, even if it may
have offended half the population for suggesting the Nets are whiners. >> Stay informed about: Shaq changes Lawrence's name to "Laura" |

For once I agree with Shaq.
I can't stand Frank "Jason Kidd's puppet" and think that he is not even
qualified to be a head coach, an assistant coach, probably, but a head
coach?
Look what happened to the Nets since he took over..
But that is not saying that Shaq didn't crush pound of Nets defenders
with his non shooting hand several times in game four and got away with
it. >> Stay informed about: Shaq changes Lawrence's name to "Laura" |

Laura Schleshinger would hit Shaquille a lot harder than Jim Everett ever
hit Rome.

Shaq's non-shooting hand was 1/3 of it. His elbow and his ass were the
other 2/3rds. I give Shaq credit for not complaining when he's hit, but
between this comment and the "Queens" reference years ago he's clearly got
"issues."
As for Lawrence Frank, he did a great coaching job this year getting the
team to the playoffs. Considering the team has zero inside presence, was
without RJ for most of the year, and never really replaced KMart, getting
over .500 and grabbing the 8th seed was a good job. And, you can't say
Byron Scott did a good job after he left. Scott's assistants (Jordan,
Frank) are in the playoffs, he ain't.

I never disagree on Shaq having issues.

I disagree on this part.
Frank did nothing and it showed in the start of the season, he steam
sucked even with Mourning playing few games, they were one of the worst
shooting teams, along with high turnovers, until he got Kidd back and
then Carter came from Toronto.
Byron Scott's team was riddled with injuries, egos (Mashburn and Davis),
and bad trades giving away players for almost nothing, and he still
managed to beat the Kings and couple of other teams. >> Stay informed about: Shaq changes Lawrence's name to "Laura" |

I don't think someone with a woman's name like "Shaquille", should be
saying anything about anyone's name. He likes the nickname Shaq because
that's a little more manly, like a big house, but Shaquille, that is a
chick's name.
I'd like to see LF say that. >> Stay informed about: Shaq changes Lawrence's name to "Laura" |

It took me this long to realize that Shaq is twelve.
