| Has he ever won at "Any" level? I mean H.S., College. I know he
hasn't won in the pros. Has he always been the best player on really
bad teams? i don't know any of his history. Thanx for any answers.

He went to Cal. Do not know their record.
For his 7 years in the nba he played 5 of those at Vancouver and 2 1/2 at
Atlanta. His win % is something like 25%. The Blazers 5 game win streak was
his first that long.

I understand that. That wasn't my question. I just want to
know if he has "EVER" won, at any level?

Does this count. I could have been on that team and got a gold medal as
well. You hear of alot of these guys who have won titles at "every" level.
Just wondering if he is one of them. >> Stay informed about: Shareef Question. |

Does in my book.

Not that year. They had tough games and barely won a couple. The world
competetion is getting tough.

I'd say that by asking the question, you already know the answer, but
you're really impying something else, such as that he really isn't
very good. We are starting to hear those rumbles. I say that he's
good enough. He's been an all star. He doesn't get busted for dope
every other week. He's personable. He's polite. Sounds like a
pretty good improvement over what we've had here in recent years.
It wasn't his fault he played for the Grizzlies and the Hawks.
He went to one of the world's great universities, where academics are
more important than athletics, but it's a PAC-10 school and they
aren't *that* bad. Numerous very good if not great NBA players have
come out of Cal.
Who knows what he did in high school. My guess is he won a lot.
The one I wonder about is Theo. They've loved him everywhere he's
been. The coaches, the fans, everyone. And he's done well at each
stop too. We can see it happening here too. But nobody wants to keep
him. Why's that. >> Stay informed about: Shareef Question. |

Not at first. But he re-signed with Vancouver and vowed that with Bibby they
would be a playoff team. He was an unrestricted FA and could have gone to a
better team, any team was better at that time. Since most rookies fled their
lottery teams it was considered admirable at the time. I bet he would have
done otherwise in hindsight.

This time because they are cutting payroll and wanted 'Sheed's ending
contract. Before it was injuries. He broke constantly. It has only been the
last couple of seasons he has been healthy and he attributes it the some
nutritionist that put him on intense calcium therapy. The last trade, when
he left Philly for Deke, he was out for the rest of the season (and most of
the next) and Philly was trying to get back to the finals.

No I don't know the answer. All I want to know is, has he been a good
player on junk teams, or has he ever won anything.
These answer's are good so far. A first round knock out at Cal doesn't sound
very good.
