You think players like Duncan and Malone liked coming out there to guard
him?
Could they leave him and beg him to shoot them when he made a third of them?

lol. great, grand, wonderful. so you're sorry to see sheed go b/c he was
such a premiere 3 point threat in the nba.

i love hearing you cry about losing wallace and how great a deep shooter he
was. the inevitable has happened and the future is starting to take shape.
no more stewing about the past. you seem to think we'll be worse without
sheed while I disagree. I see him as a perennial underachiever. with no
talent around him in atlanta, he'll probably explode statistically for the
remainder of the year. then you'll still be saying, look what we lost.

no no no. aldridge states that they're going to clear nearly 50 mill in cap
room after this year. sheed is like 16 i believe. i think person is around
7, terrell brandon's salary will be gone... that's a lot. there's more.
they could be a big free agent player. kobe sweepstakes maybe.

watch sheed for atlanta. with basically only him and terry, he's going to
just explode statistically. stephen jackson may pick it up as well. going
to be interesting to see what the hawks do. I guess Nazr will be the
center. >> Stay informed about: 'Sheed to the hawks |

i don't expect cook or dickau to remain beyond the expansion cut down.
in that sense, yea, we could use X. but it seems dumb and he was only
rumored here along with damp for sheed. so i'm sure X as a potential blazer
is a history. but we could use a better backup and like nash said, he still
has a trade up his sleeve he'd like to get done. i'm hoping we see a
DD/Rube package sluffed off on someone. >> Stay informed about: 'Sheed to the hawks |

nice. thanks for that.
he said brandon's salary drops and he's getting 23 over the next 2 years. I
don't think both years drop off though. sheed 17. person nearly 8. terry
7. then there's glover 1 mill, jackson has a player option and who knows,
he may opt out, so that's another mill or 2... and 4 others who total about
2 mill.
so if only 1 year of brandon's salary drops off, then that means between
him, sheed, and person, that's yea, about 36. add the others and it comes
out to about 11 more, so about 47. it looks like they'll still be
responsible for 12 mill of brandon's salary next year, so that'll hurt, but
they should be a free agent player for the next 2 years. >> Stay informed about: 'Sheed to the hawks |

I

They have to pay the contract or 20% of it not covered by insurance, but it
gets cap relief now from the injury retirement after two years. Does not
count against the cap this season.
> it looks like they'll still be

They traded for the contract of a player not able to play for the above
reason, to clear cap.

Sounds right. I know it's 11 this year so that would mean 12 next year.
> I don't think both years drop off though.
They do, after he hasn't played in a game for two years (which will be some
time this month), but not in the way he was figuring. They can't take the
two years of salary and count it as one.
> sheed 17. person nearly 8. terry 7.
The Hawks matched an offer Terry got from Utah, so he has a few years
on his deal.

I missed those, so that adds a little. Henderson, Crawford, and Terry
are apparently the only big ones they will have left.

They should be a big time player this summer. With the way the market is
going they could have enough for at least two or three good players now
and enough for at least one more next year. >> Stay informed about: 'Sheed to the hawks |

As opposed to Dirk who is also at 34% this year and also takes 4 per game?
